My Research Background

I bring a diverse research background spanning both scientific and market-focused fields. With roots in Microbiology, Protein Biochemistry, and Cardiovascular Metabolism, I developed a strong foundation in scientific research methods, analytical thinking, and data interpretation. Transitioning into the business side, I expanded my expertise to include Marketing Research, covering areas like Competitor Analysis, SEO Analytics, Market Trend Analysis, and Consumer Behavior Analysis. Additionally, my experience as a Product Researcher encompasses UX research, Usability Testing, A/B Testing, and Product Concept Validation, equipping me with a holistic understanding of both consumer needs and product optimization. This blend of scientific rigor and market insight allows me to approach research with a unique perspective that’s both analytical and people centric.

Comprehensive Analysis of SARS-CoV-2 Variants: Uncovering Molecular Mechanisms, Immune Evasion, and Public Health Impact

Conducted an in-depth comparative analysis of current scientific literature on SARS-CoV-2 and its variants, including Alpha, Delta, and Omicron, focusing on each variant’s evolution and unique characteristics. My research delved into Omicron’s infection mechanisms at the molecular level, examining its advanced immune evasion strategies and heightened transmissibility. Additionally, I analyzed medical statistics to assess post-infection effects, such as Long COVID, and explored its global epidemiological impact on public health. This work provided valuable insights into the virus's progression, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of COVID-19's evolving landscape.

Data-Driven Insights for Anti-Bullying App: Merging Quantitative Research, Competitive Analysis, and Parent Feedback

Conducted a multifaceted research project aimed at supporting the development of an anti-bullying app. Used secondary research to gathered key statistics on bullying prevalence and trends, to provide a foundational understanding of the issue's scope. Performed competitive research, analyzing similar apps to identify strengths, gaps, and best practices, ensuring the app would offer unique and impactful features. Additionally, facilitated focus groups with parents of elementary and middle school students to understand their concerns and priorities. Insights from these sessions guided both content development and potential app features to meet the needs of families affected by bullying

Enhancing User Experience in Emotional Support Tech: Insights from Competitive Analysis, User Feedback, and Research-Driven Strategies

Performed competitive analysis on emotional support apps to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing  features and user experience of the Hapi app, an on-demand venting app. Engaged users in active listening sessions to gather qualitative insights, identifying key areas for product improvement. Collaborated with the engineering team to prioritize and implement solutions grounded in user feedback. Analyzed internal data to illustrate the impact of active listening as a service. Additionally, conducted secondary research on topics like loneliness, emotional intelligence, and active listening to inform marketing strategies and enrich content development.

Improving Usability and Adoption: User Research for SmartQC Implementation

​Led user research initiatives for the implementation of SmartQC, a web-based platform designed to streamline quality control lab activities. She spearheaded research strategies to improve platform usability and drive lab adoption, starting with a comprehensive survey that gathered both quantitative and qualitative data from employees. The survey results highlighted key areas impacting engagement, which Christine then used to conduct targeted usability tests on the platform’s three most critical features. Additionally, she held in-depth user interviews to identify pain points and user needs, translating these insights into actionable recommendations to enhance UI design and boost user adoption. Christine presented these findings and strategic improvements to management and collaborated closely with vendors to refine SmartQC’s functionality and overall user experience.

Driving Website Traffic and Visibility: Strategic SEO and Optimization 

Developed and led SEO strategies focused on driving organic traffic and boosting the company’s online visibility. She conducted comprehensive keyword and competitive research to uncover growth opportunities and shape content strategies. Utilizing Google Analytics, she analyzed traffic patterns and performed A/B testing on landing pages, optimizing them to maximize user engagement and improve conversion rates.
